This Privacy Policy explains how BHIP Global Gıda Takviyeleri Lojistik ve Dağıtım Ltd. Şti. ("b:hip Turkey", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit bhipturkey.com (the "Website"), in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

Our website is informational. We process only the limited personal data described below.

We do not collect names, contact details, payment information, or account information through this Website. We do not use advertising, analytics, or social media tracking cookies.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Operating and securing the Website (server logs, error diagnostics, abuse prevention).
  • Recording and respecting your cookie consent as required by KVKK and ePrivacy rules.
  • Delivering embedded video content through Vimeo when you have consented.

4. Legal Basis (KVKK Article 5)

We rely on the following legal grounds:

  • Explicit consent (Art. 5/1) — for setting non-essential cookies and loading embedded video from Vimeo.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f) — for keeping basic server logs to operate and secure the Website.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç) — for retaining your cookie consent record as proof that we obtained your consent.

5. Recipients and Transfers

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data is shared with the following service providers strictly for the purposes above:

  • Microsoft Corporation — website hosting and server log storage on Microsoft Azure. The hosting region we use is located in the United States. Microsoft processes data on our behalf under its standard data protection terms.
  • Vimeo, Inc. — embedded video. Located in the United States. Cookies and IP processing only occur if you allow all cookies. See Vimeo's privacy policy.

Cross-border transfers

Your data is transferred to the United States in two situations:

  • Server hosting — every visit results in your IP address and basic technical data being processed by our hosting provider's servers in the United States. This transfer is necessary to deliver the Website you have requested and is governed by Microsoft's standard contractual data protection terms.
  • Embedded video — when you choose "Allow all cookies", your IP address and device data are transferred to Vimeo in the United States. By choosing "Allow all cookies" you provide your explicit consent for this transfer. If you do not consent, no Vimeo content is loaded and no Vimeo transfer occurs.

Under KVKK Article 9 (as amended in 2024), such transfers may take place on the basis of explicit consent, appropriate safeguards, or other legal grounds set out in the Law.

After the retention period, we delete or anonymise the data in line with KVKK Article 7 and our Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Article 11)

You have the right to:

  • a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed;
  • b) Request information about how it is processed;
  • c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose;
  • ç) Know which third parties (in Turkey or abroad) your data is transferred to;
  • d) Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • e) Request deletion or destruction of your data within the conditions of Article 7;
  • f) Request that any correction, deletion, or destruction be communicated to third parties to whom the data was transferred;
  • g) Object to results that are produced solely by automated analysis and that adversely affect you;
  • ğ) Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.

8. How to Exercise Your Rights

You may exercise your rights by submitting a written request, including a copy of your ID, to:

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) at kvkk.gov.tr.
